Optimising Local Businesses Online For FREE!

I’ve been seeing lot’s of WSO’s and E-Books being promoted online at the moment deemed to be the ‘Missing Link’ to Offline Marketing for Businesses.

Myself, I’ve been doing this for a good few months now and I’ve put together a few pointers of which I KNOW, help increase a businesses online presence (& Rankings). Read more to discover these little nuggets of gold for a business!

  1. Submit a Google & Yahoo! Local Map listing for the business
  2. Get your client listed in the Local Directories within their region.
  3. Register the business on Twitter to help keep in contact with their customers (Also provides valuable back linking to the website)
  4. Ensure the businesses Merchant account has email capture on every receipt. Very beneficial to retail and restaurant sides of the market.
  5. Ensure you place an Opt-In form in their website (Highly Visible) to capture potential customers information.
  6. Make sure, if you aren’t particularly good with optimising SEO, either pay someone to clean it up, or get your client hosted on Word press. On-Page SEO is Crucial to effective,high ranked positions in the Search Engines.
  7. Ensure you create some keyword targeted articles and submit them to:
  • EzineArticles
  • Tumblr
  • Scribd
